Our greatest step of faith, yet.
Hello friend,
It’s time for permanence of place—a rootedness that feeds fervent pursuit of God, discipleship training, community engagement, justice and mercy ministries, and kingdom-centred partnerships.
We’re grateful to be on this journey with you!
— Joe & Stacie
Funding to reach our first milestone: £500K

Why a new building?
-
A building allows us to expand in every area. Alongside church gatherings, it facilitates community engagement, justice and mercy ministries, civic partnerships, and more, all powered by the supernatural fuel of prayer.
-
When the power of the church is expanded to equip Jesus-followers every day of the week, cities are changed. Our building will be a full-time training hub in vibrant spirituality and missional engagement for our cultural moment.
-
When a vibrant church is seen in our city, it symbolises the life available in Jesus and his kingdom. Our local presence and permanence declare God's faithful love for Manchester.

FAQs
-
Yes! In addition to donations, we need prayer support, volunteers to assist with fundraising events, and help spreading the word about the campaign.
-
We’re committed to transparency and accountability, and we’ll be giving regular updates on the campaign’s status, including how we’re reaching goals and how funds are being used. We’ll hold regular Town Hall meetings for this very purpose with reports available to donors and congregants.
-
Only donations marked “Building Project” will be added to the campaign fund. This helps us track how close we are to reaching the next goal. You can do this easily by setting up a new donation and adding “Building Project” as a note to your bank transfer, or through the dropdown menu online, or by using the details on the previous page. If you forget to do this when you place your donation, you can always send us an email at building@theramp.org.uk

Do you see the vision?
Just to be clear, though . . . A building isn’t the answer. But it is an essential and powerful tool for transformation. A building is a centre of operations; a house of prayer for all nations; a spiritual portal; a meeting place; an all-access lobby for the people of Manchester to explore faith together; it's a place where the spiritual atmosphere is cultivated and fashioned into a thin place; encounters with God’s presence are expected, easy, and evident; it’s a place where people’s stories are re-written, exact seats and squares of carpet are remembered as the spot someone found Jesus, tasted freedom, were sent out as ambassadors of life; the place where a conversation started that became someone's first healthy relationship; the place divine strategy was given for a kingdom-centred enterprise; the place where a word from God was heard to sell all and follow. A building isn’t the answer, but it becomes a house of answers—a place dense with memories, every fibre of the seats and walls witnesses to God’s eternal promises spoken, declared, and sung. It’s not the answer, but it’ll be the place your best friend finally gives their life to Jesus; it’ll be the place your child forms life-long memories watching their parents cry and dance in God’s presence; it’ll be the place where, after a full conference of young people came without a notion of God or his plan, they get lost in his presence, dancing and singing in complete freedom and abandonment to God. No, a building isn’t the answer, but the God of answers will dwell with his people there.
